We have been so impressed by Winding Creek Kennels since we first boarded our dogs with them in early 2022. When the kennel that we had been using changed ownership and attitude, we feared that we wouldn’t find a new place to board them. This facility is beautiful and clean and the staff welcomes potential customers to tour without an appointment during business hours.
Both of our dogs are seniors with health issues. The staff here is so welcoming and caring and takes care of them so well. We travel with complete confidence knowing that Baxter and Chief are in good hands.
We can’t recommend Winding Creek enough!

Winding Creek was amazing!! We have a very nervous kitty, and this was her first time staying in a facility like this. The staff made us feel comfortable immediately. It was the first time we've been able to go out of town and not worry about our baby! They were happy to give us updates while we were away, and I know they took great care of her because when we returned home she was as happy as ever! Everyone that works there is so nice and professional, and you can tell that they take great pride in what they do. That made all the difference to us, because we felt like they would care for our kitty like she was their own. We will definitely be sending her to "camp" at Winding Creek any time we go out of town in the future!

After our pet sitter retired, we were struggling to find the best care solution for our senior cat when we are out of town. After seeing rave reviews on the Nextdoor app, we drove to Winding Creek Kennels to scout it out. OMG! This place is fabulous! The kennel is located on neatly maintained acreage with staff on site 24/7. They physically interact with all the guests daily and there are options available for extra playtime, special needs and grooming services. They provide healthy food, but you can bring your own if you have a fussy eater. We got a tour of the facility and were pleased that the climate controlled cattery is separate from the dog area. It is remarkably clean, quiet and ODOR-FREE! Each cat is given its own 3-tiered condo and there was even a TV playing videos of birds, squirrels and fish to entertain them. We were pleased to find all the guests to be relaxed and showing no signs of stress. I also liked that they require evidence of current vaccinations and information on any health conditions. We felt very comfortable boarding our kitty the following weekend. When we picked her up, she was given a report card to let us know how she behaved, whether she ate and pooped well, and other relevant observations. We are delighted to have found the perfect place to board our baby girl without worry! In any organization there is always room for improvement, but I honestly didn’t notice any area that needed attention. The staff is terrific and it is worth the 40-minute drive to get excellent care for our pet. On top of it all, they are also reasonably priced!
